Features

Effortless Mounting and Stacking with Modular Rail Design

Stages are quickly and easily mounted, both to each other and optical systems, by sliding along and locking to the separate dovetail-like, stainless steel e•z•Trac™ rail underneath (and orthogonal to) the translating surface. Because the e•z•Trac™ rails mount independently to the full stage, exchanging and reconfiguring Triple-Divide™ translation stages is trivial and easily integrable into most optical systems. The rail feature also makes them ideal for integration into scalable and OEM systems.

Stainless Steel Ball-bearings for Smooth Travel

The stages are based on a ball-bearing design and made of anodized aluminum with hardened and polished stainless-steel races. They provide smooth and accurate positioning over the full travel range with 0.5 μm resolution and a straight-line accuracy of 2.5 μm.

Orthogonal e•z•Trac™ Rail Mounting

9032 E•z•Trac™ rails are included with each 9065 stage allowing you to table mount or combine this stage with any of the accessories from our e•z•Trac™ 19 mm Surface Mount Optical Rails to build the translation system you want. These Pint-Size Rail Mount stages mount in the same manner as the larger 9064 Triple-Divide™ versions, locking securely in place along the e•z•Trac™ rail with a cone-point setscrew designed to match the rail's sloped surface. The orthogonal mounting of the e•z•Trac™ rails to surfaces and the stages to the rail provides optimal resistance to torque, ensuring orthogonality of <2 mrad over the full 0.55 in (14 mm) travel for any configuration.

Pint-size Stages with Modularity of the Triple-Divide Series

These miniature translation stages maintain the performance of their larger Triple-Divide™ version but measure just 1.5-in. x 1.5-in. x 0.75-in., This compact line is based upon the same e•z•Trac™ carrier system as our larger Triple-Divide translation stages, giving you the option to mix and match, also with the larger versions, and customize to your system.

Reconfigurable for Left and Right-Handed

The XY and XYZ stages can be easily configured for mirror-image right and left-hand versions for more flexibility in how you lay out your experiment on the table. Simply loosen the set screws which hold the railing in place and revers the position of the bottom stage so that it is facing the opposite of the original direction.

Multiple Configurations

The stages are available in the same X, Z, XY, XZ, and XYZ configurations as the larger Triple-Divide™ 9064 Series Stages and still include both 8-32 (M4) and 1/4-20 (M6) threaded holes for mounting components. Please note that the actuator clamping mount attaches to stage body in a different way for 9065-X and 9065-Z single axis stages. Use 9065-Z stage with 9039 angle bracket to build the Z configuration.
