Features

Removable Actuators

The micrometer that is included with the TGN stage is preloaded for smooth, backlash-free motion. It can be removed to allow the use of other linear actuators.

Stackable Design

TGN tilt stages can be stacked together orthogonally or in-line to extend tilt range or add an additional tip axis.  Shown is two TGN80 tilt platforms in a tip/tilt configuration.

Compatible with UTR Rotation Stages

UTR series rotation stages can be mounted on top of TGN tilt stages using mounting bridles. Shown here is a UTR80-S rotation stage mounted on a TGN80 Tilt Platform stack for complete pitch, yaw, and roll adjustment.

Easily Combined for Multi-axis Motion

The TGN Series Tilt Platforms are compatible with UMR Steel Linear Stages, UTR Steel Rotation Stages, and MVN Precision Vertical Stages of matching size (for example, TGN80 with UMR8.25 and UTR80, or TGN120 with UTR 120 and MVN120). They can be combined to provide multi-axis motion and can be easily adapted to fit a specific system's needs. In the picture, a six-axis manual positioning system is shown using two UMR8.25s, two TGN80s, a UTR80S, and a MVN80.

High Load Capacity

The stainless steel used in the construction of these tilt stages affords them exceptionally high load capacities, up to 180 lb. (800 N).

Flexible Mounting

Clearance holes in the top plate facilitate mounting of a wide range of components to the platform. TGN Series stages attach to tables and breadboards via clearance slots in the bottom plate.
