These stages feature an integrated linear encoder. Paired with our open-loop Picomotor actuators, you can build your own closed-loop Picomotor actuated stage with 80 nm resolution repeatable step sizes.
Easily Integrates with Picomotor Actuators and Controllers
These linear stages have been designed to be fully compatible with our popular Picomotor actuators and the 8743-CL Closed-Loop Picomotor Controller/Driver. For example, combine the 9066-COM-E linear stage with a 8302 Picomotor actuator and 8743-CL Closed-Loop Picomotor controller/driver to create a ready to go closed-loop linear stage.
Crossed-Roller Bearing Design for Smooth and Accurate Positioning
To ensure accurate linear travel, the stages use thermally matched, hardened-steel, crossed-roller bearings and high-precision reference surfaces. The result is a line of translation stages that offers an angular deviation of < 150 µrad in any axis and straight-line accuracy better than 3 microns as well as high load capacity and stiffness.
