Optical Support Rod PlatformsThe 300-P Optical Rod Platform has three machined mounting surfaces: one parallel to the post axis and two perpendicular to it. The platform clamp is double-bored, forming two line contacts along the bore to assure wobble-free clamping when the 1/4 in. hex locking screw is tightened.
Perpendicular and Parallel Mounting Surfaces
The 300-P Rod Platform, made of solid aluminum, provides a versatile foundation for mounting optical components. It has surfaces both parallel and perpendicular to the post axis to which components can be mounted directly with an array of threaded holes. The platform clamp is double-bored, forming two line contacts with Models (M-) 40 , (M-) 41, 42 or 45 supporting rods to prevent wobble once the locking screw is tightened, securing the platform in place.
