Features
Low Loss in a Rugged, Compact Package
Each fiber is contained in a glass ferrule, angle polished and AR coated to assure low back-reflection into the fiber pigtail. A protective metal housing sleeve and strain relief boot provide excellent environmental protection to the final assembly.
Single-mode and Multimode Collimators Available
Our single-model collimators comes pigtailed with 9/125 µm single-mode fiber and our multimode collimators come pigtailed with 62.5/125 µm multimode fiber.
FC/PC, FC/APC or Bare Fiber Pigtails
Pigtailed fiber optic isolators come with a bare fiber pigtail, or a fiber pigtail with a FC/UPC or FC/APC connector.
Applications
Applications for a single fiber collimator include laser beam delivery systems, as well as coupling the output of a fiber into a detector. Applications of pairs of collimators include beam expansion systems for lab applications, as well as fiber-to-fiber coupling in compact components.
