Product Series Overview
Lens Focusing MountThe LFM-1A Lens Focusing Mount translates optical elements along their axis without side motions or rotation. To improve position resolution and focusing sensitivity, the internal mechanism incorporates an 80 TPI threaded barrel. By rotating the outer barrel, you will smoothly translate your optic up to 0.2 inches (5 mm), with precise accuracy. To secure your position, a series of locking screws are conveniently located around the adjustment barrel. The LFM-1A accommodates 1.38 inch (35 mm) diameter optics directly using the Delrin retaining rings supplied. A threaded LPLH-1T optic holder with a retaining ring for 1.0 in. (25 mm) optics is also supplied. If your application requires the positioning of a microscope objective, our LPMH-1 Objective Adaptor with 0.800-36 thread can be purchased separately. LFM-1A has tapped mounting holes for easy attachment to posts or other optical hardware.
