The ELS-P24 Light Shield is used to build a light-blocking enclosure. It helps keep unintentional light reflections where they should be, and keep stray light from affecting your measurements. Additionally, the Light Shield also shields from clumsy colleagues who might inadvertently bump your perfectly aligned optics path.
