Ge Photodiode, Amplified, 700-1800 nm, 2-stage TE, 5 mm, NIST Calibration
The DET-L-GE-T-C Germanium Photovoltaic Detector for LIDA™ houses an unbiased, photovoltaic mode operated photodiode coupled to a trans impedance amplifier. The internal 5 mm diameter active area Germanium photodiode with 2-stage TE cooler and low-noise trans impedance amplifier provides excellent light detection performance from 700-1800 nm, with the trans impedance amplifier providing a gain of 104 V/A to 109 V/A over 0.01 Hz-100 kHz frequencies. The 2-stage TE cooler is capable of cooling the Germanium photocathode to 500C below the ambient operating temperature. Below picowatt level light powers can be measured using this detector. This detector includes a NIST traceable calibration, making it suitable for absolute measurements over its entire sensitivity range.
This flange mounted photodiode sensor provides a BNC connector for signal output. The 1.5 inch female flange simplifies the integration to one of our many Oriel light sources and monochromators.
