Light Source, Mercury-Xenon, 1000 W, F/1 2 Element Plano-Convex

The 66924-1000HX-R1 High Power Mercury-Xenon Light Source is a complete, plug and play light source suitable for applications where intense UV-NIR output is required. The light source includes an 1000 W Hg-Xe arc lamp, Hg-Xe lamp socket adapter, research series lamp housing, interconnection cables and the lamp power supply. After a quick and easy assembly, the light source is ready for use and can be easily integrated into a user's setup.
The included Research Arc Lamp Housing model 66921 is not just an aluminum enclosure for the lamp; it holds the ignitor, condensing optics, rear reflector, and lamp cooling fan. It uses an F/1 Two Element Fused Silica plano-convex condenser lens for a 1.9 inch (48 mm) diameter collimated beam at the 2 Inch Series output flange.
The light source also includes the model 69920 high stability arc lamp power supply for operating 350-1200 W DC arc lamps. A display screen and easy to use push buttons conveniently located on the front panel allow the user to navigate through the power supply’s functions. These functions include choice of Power, Current, and Intensity control modes, setting current and voltage limits, as well as observing in real time the important parameters of each operating mode.
