Hex Adjustment Knobs allow quick and precise adjustment of hex-driven optomechanical components in a compact optical system. The long hex allows access to both the adjuster and the lock. The knob can be added and removed to different adjusters during alignment or left with the same adjuster between adjustments for convenience. A variety of sizes are offered in both imperial and metric versions.
Flat and Ball Hex Ends
The Hex Adjustment Knob features a flat tip on one end and a ball tip on the other. The ball tip provides angular flexibility and allows access to tight spaces. It can be accessed by loosening the set screw in the knob and sliding the hex bit from one end to the other. A compatible hex key for the set screw is included.
