High Transmission Polarizing Beamsplitter Cube

Our compact isolators contain optically contacted polarizing beamsplitter cubes that provide high transmission. With more photons available for your application, diodes can be run at lower currents, extending the diode lifetime.

1/2 Waveplate Option

We offer versions with an added zero order 1/2 wave plate (-W models). The waveplate is installed at the factory and cannot be adjusted. Should you need to adjust the waveplate please contact us.

Mounting to a Table, Stage, or Post

Newport offers the VB-1 V-Block mount, a cost-effective way to mount and secure cylindrical devices, including these Compact Faraday Optical Isolators. The block can be attached directly to an optical table, tip/tilt or translation stage, or it can be post-mounted.

Applications

  • Eliminating frequency instability in single-frequency lasers, such as diodes and OPSLs
  • Preventing mode-hopping in external cavity diode lasers
