48 mm Aluminum Four-Sided Optical RailsThe X48-2 Aluminum Rail is a solid piece of aluminum, forming a rigid, yet lightweight, 2 m length foundation for building larger precision optical systems. X48's symmetrical cruciform cross-section provides four parallel mounting surfaces and permits carriers to be mounted to any side of the rail; the shape of the rail also increases its longitudinal and torsional stiffness for excellent stability and rigidity. Precision dovetail design allows components to be quickly attached or removed without disturbing other carriers or components.
