HeNe Laser, Red, 633 nm, 165 MHz, 35 mW, 500:1 Polarization, 110-240V.

The N-LHP-928 Red HeNe Laser generates a 500:1 linearly polarized output of 35.0 mW (minimum) at 633 nm. Longitudinal mode spacing is approximately 165 MHz with the spectral bandwidth being approximately 1400 MHz (FWHM). This CE compliant, IEC Class 3B red HeNe laser offers TEM00 mode at 633 nm. The power supply is included. A spare or replacement laser head and power supply can be purchased separately off-line. The laser head model is N-LHP-928-H, and the power supply model is N6-LPL-944-080.

633 nm Output Power from 0.5 mW to 35 mW

Our 35 mW Helium Neon laser is the most powerful commercial HeNe lasers available. We also offer a wide variety of lower power, and lower cost HeNe lasers to suit a wide variety of applications. The power supply is included with the red HeNe laser head.

HeNe Laser Mounting

ULM Series cylindrical laser mounts attach to 340-RC and 370-RC rod clamps and provide a convenient way to attach these HeNe lasers to Newport stages, tables, or breadboards. For N-LHP and N-LHR series, please mount the laser at either end of the body indicated by shading.

Random or 500:1 Polarization

We have models whose outputs are either polarized or randomly polarized. Due to the random fluctuation of the polarization state of the beam, it is not recommended to use a polarizer with a random polarization laser for applications where polarized light is required. The laser with the polarized output has a vertical polarization direction, when the shutter control is shown at the top.

HeNe Laser Advantages

HeNe Lasers use a mixture of Helium and Neon gas as the gain medium excited by an electrical discharge. Helium Neon gas lasers are based on a mature and well understood technology that offers a cost effective laser source with fundamental Gaussian beam quality, and ease of use. HeNe lasers offer a stable optical output over lifetimes greater than 20,000 hours and are insensitive to optical feedback.
