Features

Compact, Bulkhead Design

These Fiber Optic In-Line Isolators are provided in a bulkhead version, which has the advantage of eliminating the polarization disturbances caused by fiber pigtails. The short optical path length (~7 cm) is most desirable for ultra-short pulse and interferometric applications. The compact design, polarization insensitivity, low loss and low reflection come together to make these isolators ideal for integration in a multitude of fiber optic systems.

Rugged and Environmentally Stable

They are ruggedly built to function reliably in a wide variety of environments. The elimination of fiber pigtails makes these devices easier to handle without need of fragile fiber. The shorter path length also makes these devices less sensitive to environmental fluctuations and provides better performance.

Single and Double Stage Isolators Available

Choose from single stage isolators or double stage isolators. The single stage isolators provide >30 dB Minimum Isolation while the double stage provides >45 dB.

Applications

  • Fiber optic amplifier
  • WDM systems
  • Transmitters and fiber lasers
