The F-HB830-5/80-Z Zing™ Polarizing Optical Fiber is an all-fiber polarizer, guiding only a single-polarization state, providing practical real-world polarizing performance. Straight, coiled, Zing delivers the high PER and broad, stable operating window that applications demand. The key to Zing is the extreme birefringence that only a 'Bow-Tie' geometry Polarization Maintaining fiber can create. With polarization beat-lengths approaching 0.5mm at 633nm, Zing fiber can provide 100nm of practical, usable polarizing bandwidth.

This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter. The following volume discount schedule is applied when ordering continuous lengths of optical fiber: 10 - 49 m: 15%, 50 - 99 m: 22%, 100 - 499 m: 25%, and ≥ 500 m: 28%.
