The New Focus™ Venturi™ 8800-H3-850 Swept-Wavelength Tunable Laser has a mode-hop free tuning range of 835 to 850 nm. It offers 5 dBm of FC/APC fiber coupled output power for SM or PM fibers. The 8800 combines the best in ultrafast, ultrawide, and mode hop-free tunability with low noise, high accuracy and repeatability. Because Venturi lasers are based on our award winning design, they are extremely dependable with OEM proven 24/7 reliability (>500-million cycles tested without failure). Venturi lasers are ideal for fiber sensing, spectroscopy, laser seeding, metrology and fiber-optics testing.

The Venturi 8800 is the only swept wavelength laser with up 20,000 nm/second tuning speed and high frequency repetition rates enabling true real-time measurements.  Tuning speeds, repetition rates, dwell times, and wavelength ranges are all adjustable to accommodate your unique needs. In addition to wavelength sweeping, the Venturi is capable of step tuning in 0.01 nm increments. The front panel offers easy access to RS232 and USB interfacing with use of a user friendly GUI.
