How Does it Work?

To operate the pen tool, simply assemble the pen, adaptor and suction cup together, depress and hold the side panel on the pen, then release it after the suction cup is on the optic. The vacuum created but the pen allows the suction cup to grip the optic.  To release the optic just press the side panel again.  The VTL-KT is easy to use and requires no batteries or power source.

Holds A Variety of Optics

The VTL-KT is a pen tool specifically made to pick and place optical components like lenses, filters, and mirrors. The kit contains one each of the following: 3/16", 3/8" and 1/2" dia. non-marking suction cups each for picking up the many sizes and shapes of various optics.

Straight or Angled Probe Tips

The VTL Kit has both a straight and an angled suction cup adaptor. The straight one (VTL-PS) is intended for loading optics into deeper holding cavities like lens tubes where tweezers won't fit. The angled one (VTL-PB) is intended for loading optics into shallow holding cavities like lens mounts.

A Complete Kit

The VTL-KT contains one each of the following: 3/16-inch, 3/8_inch and 1/2-inch diameter non-marking suction cups, an angled and a straight suction cup adaptor, and a suction pen.  Each of these items can be purchased separately as needed.  Additionally a 3/4-inch diameter suction cup (VTL-CP75) can be purchased for heavier optics.
