Lens Tubes

Newport’s new Lens Tubes allow the combining of several optical components into stable and rigid assemblies. Included in this product family are various lengths of tubes for holding ½, 1 and 2 inch diameter lenses, as well as adaptors for mounting other types of components. Lens tubes can be used to create lens systems such as beam expanders, telescopes, microscopes, or collimators.

Lens Tubes allow the combining of several optical components into stable and rigid assemblies and are used to create beam expanders, telescopes, microscopes, collimators and more.

Endless Optical Configurations

LT-series Lens Tubes provide a means to mount multiple lenses into a single holder. Each lens tube has an internal thread on one end and a mating external thread on the other. This allows them to be connected together end-to-end to provide endless configurations. Lenses are held in place with threaded retaining rings and one ring is included with each lens tube.
