Convert fibers with SMA fibers to Oriel 11mm terminations

Most Newport fiber optic cable assemblies are offered with standard 11 mm ferrule terminations. For those with SMA terminations, we offer the model 77670 to convert the termination type to be compatible with our standard fiber holders. You can also convert any third-party fiber with an SMA termination.

Most Newport fiber optic cable assemblies are offered with standard 11 mm ferrule terminations. For those with ST terminations, we offer the model 77675 to convert the termination type to be compatible with our standard fiber holders.

Adapt third-party fiber optic cables and liquid light guides for use with Oriel accessories

Third party fibers and liquid light guides with cylindrical terminations may be converted to standard Oriel 11mm terminations by use of these ferrules. This allows them to be compatible with Oriel's wide array of fiber coupling accessories. These standard Fiber Optic Ferrules are aluminum cylinders that attach to the tips of fiber bundles, using set screws. Contact Newport Sales for more information on OEM opportunities.
