M6 Mounting Hole Grid

This metric breadboard features a 25 mm grid of M6 mounting holes and a 12.5 mm border. The mounting holes are through tapped with cut (not rolled) threads with countersink. The mounting hole grid makes optical system alignment fast and easy as optical components mounted above the breadboard mounting holes will be perfectly aligned with the components mounted above other holes in the X or Y direction.

Counterbored Through Holes for Easy Mounting

SA2 solid aluminum optical breadboards feature four counterbored through holes in the breadboard corners, making it easy to retrofit to existing optical tables for increased workspace and convenience. As compared to competitive solid breadboards, our mounting through holes are located on the mounting hole grid. This allows an SA2 breadboard mounted to an optical table to have its hole pattern aligned with the optical table hole pattern instead of being offset from it.
