Singlemode Fiber, 1310/1550 nm, Bend Insensitive, Reduced Cladding.

The F-SBD bend insensitive, single mode sensor grade fiber is for 1310/1550 nm wavelength range and features a high NA of 0.16. It is suitable for tightly wound fiber spools for a variety of sensing applications. At 1310 nm, for example, the maximum bend induced attenuation, due to 100 fiber turns on a 10 mm mandrel, is only 0.05 dB! 80 μm cladding diameter with a 6.7 μm Mode Field Diameter, this fiber is commonly used in fiber optic gyroscope assemblies or in optical fiber payout systems.
This bare fiber does not include a protective fiber jacket. Standard pricing is per meter. The following volume discount schedule is applied when ordering continuous lengths of optical fiber: 10 - 49 m: 15%, 50 - 99 m: 22%, 100 - 499 m: 25%, and ≥ 500 m: 28%.
