Wide variety of cuvettes

Newport’s cuvettes are made from UV grade fused silica or optical grade glass. The fused silica models transmit down to 200 nm. All four windows and the base of each cuvette are polished. Each cuvette is supplied with a Teflon® cover. Our 3 x 3 cells are utilized for fluorescence studies. These cuvettes fit inside shielded, flanged and fiber-coupled Oriel® compartments, as well as all standard sample compartments. 

Shielded cuvette holder for optical bench work

The 13950 Shielded Cuvette Holder holds standard 10 x 10 mm cuvettes atop an optical rod. It has an 8 mm wide by 29 mm high rectangular aperture on all four sides. When viewing or detecting fluorescence or other signal through the sides of the cell, the apertures minimize reflected or scattered light from the cell input and output faces. The 13950 has a threaded 1/4-20 hole at the base for rod mounting. Newport offers a variety of beam probes to conduct light both to and from the cuvette.

Fiber bundle sample holder for easy alignment

To perform fluorescence, absorbance or other measurements on liquid samples, using the 30750 Sample Compartment eliminates the headaches of optical alignment. The 30750 holds up to three fiber bundles with equipped with collimating beam probes. The output of the fiber bundle can then be focused directly onto the sample. The emission radiation may be collected with a second fiber or sent directly to a detector. The 30750 holds 10 mm path length cuvettes.
