Sorry, this family of products is no longer available. The recommended replacement product is 12-ghz-photoreceivers.
These fiber-optic receivers are ideal for fast, accurate, waveform measurements across all wavelengths from 450–1630 nm. Their clean pulse responses along with their DC coupling makes them well-suited for time-domain characterizations of 2.5-Gbit/s components and extinction-ratio measurements across popular protocols. The high gain and gradual well-behaved roll-off of the frequency response make them useful also for frequency-domain measurements.

Features
62.5 µm Optical Fiber Input
These photoreceivers come standard with multimode 62.5 micron multimode fiber input, and a convenient DC-bias monitor that has a transimpedance gain of 1 mV/µA and a bandwidth of 50 kHz. Utilizing the FC connector, users simplify alignment due to the small PIN diode design.
Applications
These photoreceivers are great for characterizing 2.5-Gbit/s components, including BER testing and generating eye diagrams as shown at 2.5 Gbps bit rates. They also work well in heterodyne experiments, and characterizing the frequency and/or time responses of pulsed lasers, modulators, transmitters, and other lightwave components.
