In-Line Polarization Controller, 1280-1340 nm, FC/PC.

The F-ILPC-13-PC In-line Polarization Controller is suitable for fiber optic systems and experiments where small size is needed. It performs like the bulky paddle controllers but can fit into most rack mountable housings. It is pigtailed with conventional communication fiber and can be easily installed in systems without difficulty.
The polarization controller does not squeeze the fiber which could damage the fiber jacket. The principle of the polarization controller is based on two quarter waveplates to transform an arbitrary input polarization state to another. The quarter waveplate is made by using fiber having birefringence. The device has two independently controllable rotators.
The F-ILPC-13-PC is a singular wavelength model that operates only at 1310 nm. It comes with FC/SPC connectors.
Pigtailed In-Line Polarization Controller
Our new all-fiber In-line polarization controller is ideal for fiber optic system where small size is especially needed. They fit in most rack mountable housings and electronic circuit boards. With conventional communication fiber pigtails, these polarization controllers can be easily installed in the system.
Precision Polarization Control by Quarter Waveplates
These In-line polarization controllers are composed of two fiber-made quarter waveplates. It has all fiber configuration, and low insertion loss. For arbitrary input polarization, linear combination of the two independently controlled waveplates can generate any output state of polarization.
