De-Speckler, Round 105/125 μm, 1 m SMA

The De-Speckler is a small, low power (<1 Watt) solution for reducing speckle. The best results are within the 400-1550 nm wavelength range and 100-400 μm core size range. Square core fiber and round core fiber are the most effective fibers within the despeckler. Our speckle reduction solution has a De-Speckling rate up to 10,000Hz and performs quietly at 50-60 dB, similar to that of light rainfall. Given the simplicity of the De-Speckler, there is no need for maintenance or initial training, simply plug it in and reduce speckle.
Lower the Speckle Contrast in Fiber Output
For many fiber coupled applications, reduction in speckle is required as modal noise interferes with optimal performance. Our despeckler effectively eliminates unwanted modal noise within an optical fiber, and is an ideal choice for fiber assemblies used in the Life Sciences, Digital Laser Projection, Interferometry, Laser Beam Homogenization, Lithography, and Metrology.
All-In-One Integrated Design
Our speckle reduction solution features a small form factor, a De-Speckling rate up to 10,000 Hz and performs quietly at 50-60 dB, similar to that of light rainfall. It is compact enough to integrate into any assembly and simple enough to use with little to no installation required. Driver is included.
FC/PC or SMA Connectors Available
The fiber optic de-specklers are equipped with either the FC/PC or the SMA fiber connector on each end. To connect to different type of fiber connectors, please use the appropriate Fiber Optic Mating Adapters. With the square core fiber, the key in the FC/PC connector serves as the fiber orientation indicator.
Square and Round Fiber Type
The de-specklers are available with either the 200x200 µm or 400x400 µm core size square fiber or the traditional circular core fibers, with the core size ranging from 105 to 400 µm. The sqaure core fibers are ideal for imaging applications as they generate a flat-top intensity profile. The circular core fiber ensures compatibility with widely available optical fibers to minimize the coupling losses in complex systems.
