MEMS Fiber-Optic Switch, 1x2, TTL Controls, FC/PC

The MS-1315TT-12-PC is a bi-directional 1 x 2 optical switch using industry-proven MEMS technology, which allows bi-directional operation independent of data rate and signal format. It includes 1 m long 9/125 μm single mode, jacketed fiber pigtails with FC/PC connectors. The Component-Style Fiber Optic MEMS Switches offered by Newport are switches that have high durability greater than 1 billion cycles and low insertion loss.
This 1x2 single-mode switch is a fully reversing optical bypass switch, which is used to insert or bypass nodes in fiber ring networks. These non-blocking, non-latching components require a 5V DC switching voltage. Applications include Optical Communications, Bio-medical Instrumentation, Test Applications, and Add/Drop Applications.
1x2 Configurations
The 1x2 single-mode switches are two position devices that enable channel selection. These non-latching models require a 12V DC switching voltage. Applications include fiber and component testing and optical signal routing.
