MEMS Fiber-Optic Switch, 2x2, RS232 Controls, FC/APC

The MS-1315RS-22-APC is a bi-directional 2 x 2 optical switch using industry-proven MEMS technology, which allows bi-directional operation independent of data rate and signal format. It includes 1 m long 9/125 μm single mode, jacketed fiber pigtails with FC/APC connectors. This 2x2 single-mode switch is a fully reversing optical bypass switch, which is used to insert or bypass nodes in fiber ring networks. 2x2 Configurations

The 2x2 single-mode switches are fully reversing optical bypass switches, which are used to insert or bypass nodes in fiber ring networks. These non-blocking, non-latching components require a 5V DC switching voltage. Applications include bypassing of FDDI and SONET network stations, automated and remote fiber test systems.
