New Flexure Optic Mount, Bi-Directional Clear Edge, 1.0 in., Low Wavefront Distortion

The MFM-100BW Compact Stainless Steel Flexure Mirror Mount features a bi-directional Clear Edge design for clean 45° beam transmission from either side, making it ideal for beam-splitting or beam-combining applications. The top-adjust driving configuration keeps hands clear of the beam path, enhancing accessibility and safety in compact setups. Welded construction and spring-steel flexure pivots provide stable angular adjustment over a ±2.5° range, driven by 80 TPI screws. A 1.0 inch optic (2 mm thick) can be secured using the low-distortion spring, minimizing wavefront distortion and ensuring long-term alignment.
Bi-Directional Clear Edge for Beamsplitting Application
The Clear Edge design enables unobstructed 45° beam transmission through the mount, making it ideal for beam-splitting or beam-combining applications where maintaining a clean optical path is critical. By removing material along the beam path, this design allows the transmitted beam to pass freely without clipping or distortion, even in compact setups. The new bi-directional MFM series supports bi-directional use, offering flexibility, and is especially beneficial in applications requiring precise alignment and minimal interference with the optical axis.
Keep Your Hands Out of Harm's Way
Top-adjust mirror mounts are designed with their adjustment screws positioned on the top of the mount instead of behind it. This allows users to make precise angular changes without reaching into the beam path, improving safety by keeping hands and tools away from active optical paths.
