Thermoelectric Laser Diode Temperature Controllers are used to control a Thermo-Electric Cooler (TEC) that is typically integrated into a laser diodes package or part of a temperature controlled mounting plate. Laser diode operation is affected by temperature and precision temperature control will help maintain output power, wavelength, and prevent against over temperature conditions that can damage or prematurely age laser diodes.
