• DC Motors are the recommended choice for applications requiring accurate bi-directional positioning. These stages feature an ultra-high resolution encoder mounted on the lead screw, a high-torque DC motor and a reduction belt for precise motion capability and high dynamic speed control. 
• Stepper Motors are a lower cost alternative to DC servo systems and eature micro-stepping to improve resolution and smoothness of motion.
