Amplified Photodetector, Biased, AC coupled, 500-900nm, GaAs, 10 GHz [Discontinued]

The 818-BB-45A Amplified High Speed Photodetector consists of a free-space 500 to 900 nm GaAs detector with a 0.06 mm active diameter and a <35 ps rise time. It has a built-in amplifier with approximately 26 dB of gain. It is excellent for viewing rapid modulation of low-power CW lasers or other light sources in the μW regime. The detector is AC coupled and features a bandwidth of up to 10 GHz. A wall plug-in style power supply is provided with this unit. 818-BB Series Biased Photodiode Detectors are cost effective diagnostic tools suitable for a variety of high speed applications such as viewing of Q-switched, mode-locked, or rapidly modulated laser signals and picosecond laser alignment. It is equivalent to Coherent's Model ET-4000A (P/N 120-10073-0001).
