The Quick Change Filter Holder line gives the user the ability to quickly install or remove filters in or out of an enclosed light path. A plunger on the bottom of the holder pushes the filter up for easy removal and a light-tight cover prevents leakage of ambient light into the enclosed optical path. This filter holder can accommodate circular and square shaped filters. The housing has both a male and female flange with the same dimensions as Oriel's lamp housings for easy integration into a light source setup. Three different quick change filter holders are offered:

• 71260 : 1.5 inch flange, holds 1.75 to 2 inch (43 to 51 mm) circular or square filters, 1.6 inch clear aperture
• 71261 : 2 inch flange, holds 2.1 to 26 inch (53 to 66 mm) circular or square filters, 2 inch clear aperture
• 71262 : 3 inch flange, holds 3.0 to 3.9 inch (76 to 99 mm) circular or square filters, 2.9 inch clear aperture 

For installing 1.0 inch (25.4 mm) diameter filters into the 71260, is required. After the filter is installed into the 7124, simply slide the adapter into the 71260 filter holder.

If an enclosed light path is not a requirement, a Multiple Filter Holder provides an inexpensive alternative to a Quick Change Filter Holder. Having an non-enclosed light path makes the filters easily accessible. Multiple filters can be installed and used simultaneously, as long as the total filter thickness does not exceed the maximum total thickness value for the Multiple Filter Holder. A 1/4-20 tapped hole is on the bottom of the filter holder housing to enable easy mounting with an Optical Rod.

• 62020 : 1.5 inch flange, 3/4 inch maximum filter thickness, holds 2 inch circular or square filters, 1.5 inch clear aperture
• 6215 : 2 inch flange, 3/4 inch maximum filter thickness, holds 2 inch circular or square filters, 1.8 inch clear aperture
