The unique bearing design of these Gothic Series translation stages offer the ultimate stability in temperature-fluctuating environment. Unlike the multicomponent design of standard stages, which can loose their preload properties over time, Gothic Series bearing ways are machined directly out of the stage platform.

The gothic arch contact profile for the stainless steel ball bearings offers increased contact area to reduce bearing stresses, making the stage able to carry higher loads and more resistant to bearing-way damage.

All Gothic series stages have side-mounted actuator clamps, minimizing the final footprint while maintaining a low profile height. These stages can also be stacked for multi-axis translation and include a side-mounted locking mechanism for each axis. Shown is 9062-COM with micrometer.

The actuator mounts on the Gothic Series stages can be easily reconfigured for left-handed operation.  The micrometer block is relocated where the push block is and vise versa.  The video shows a micrometer reconfiguration of the 9062-COM stage.

We offer compatible Pitch and Yaw Stages to be mounted on these linear stages of matched size for an additional 2 axes of adjustment. Shown here is a 9062-PY Pitch and Yaw stage mounted on a 9062-XY linear stage for complete pitch, yaw, X, and Y adjustment.

90 degree angle brackets can be used to build XYZ stage stacks like the one shown from single axis stages. Please see the accessory section for more information.
