Stainless steel is already known as being corrosion-resistant, however the passivation process further strengthens its natural coating by improving the exterior surface of the overall part. These 1 in. (25.4 mm) diameter stainless-steel optical posts are made from precision ground stainless steel to maintain long-term optical system alignment and come in a variety of heights. Using any of the available pedestal base clamping forks, these stackable pedestals can be clamped anywhere on a table or breadboard. Pedestal bases are machined directly into the posts.
