Newport manufactures high-performance optical diffraction gratings including ruled diffraction gratings, holographic diffraction gratings, and concave ruled gratings, supporting demanding spectroscopy and spectral analysis applications. Our ruled master gratings, produced in our Rochester facility, enable high-efficiency gratings with excellent wavelength precision and consistency.

Newport provides a wide range of optical filters for spectroscopy, microscopy, and analytical instrumentation, including bandpass optical filters, dichroic filters, neutral density filters, longpass filters, and absorptive filters. Our ODiate^® and Stabilife^® coating technologies enable high spectral precision and durability for demanding measurement applications. We also support custom optical filters and precision optical filter solutions for specialized optical systems.

Newport provides advanced optical mirrors, including replicated optical mirrors and freeform optical mirrors, designed for demanding optical systems. These precision optical mirrors deliver excellent surface accuracy and high reflectivity while enabling lightweight and thermally stable designs. Newport supports a variety of mirror geometries, including ellipsoidal and off-axis parabolic mirrors, as well as custom optical mirrors tailored to specific optical architectures and alignment requirements.
