Plano-Convex Lens, Fused Silica, 25.4 mm, 50 mm EFL, AR.2 coated

The SPX061AR.2 High Energy Fused Silica Lens is an AR.2 coated (at 532 nm), 1 inch (25.4 mm) diameter plano-convex lens with an effective focal length of 50.0 mm at 546.1 nm. It is designed for high frequency laser pulses where standard grade fused silica does not perform very well. These lenses feature Heraeus Suprasil® 300 high‑purity synthetic fused silica substrates. Suprasil 300 is manufactured by flame hydrolysis and is characterized by ultra‑low metallic impurities (<1 ppm) and an exceptionally low OH content (<1 ppm), resulting in no absorption bands from the visible to the infrared spectral region. This significantly reduces bulk absorption and minimizes the risk of internal damage under high‑energy laser exposure.
