Newport's Brewster Windows are made with UV grade fused silica with laser grade surface quality and parallelism, make them the ideal polarizers to use within a laser cavity. When oriented at Brewster's angle (55.57°), these windows are designed to generate circular profile, allowing P-Polarized light to pass through the window with minimum losses while the S-Polarized light being reflected off the brewster window. These windows limit the transmitted wavefront distortion to 1/10 of wave.
