ODiate Filter Manufacturing & Metrology
ODiate Fluorescence Filter Sets are manufactured using advanced thin-film deposition systems ensures optical filters achieve excellent transmission and reflection accuracy. ODiate filter specifications are verified utilizing commercial spectrophotometric tools in addition to Newport’s proprietary custom in-house tools to measure edge steepness resolution, and deep blocking to optical density 8 [-log10(T)].
Optimized Coatings and Engineering Expertise
Newport pushed the boundaries with the introduction of our ODiate Fluorescence Filter Sets, to allow customers to fully optimize their system performance. Our expert engineering team has been involved from the first stage of design to ensure that we exceed your requirements and continues through the entire process of continual production deliveries.
Environmental Stability and Physical Durability
The coating systems used to produce ODiate filters use a dense sputtering process to provide robust environmental reliability to meet the highest demands for thin-film coatings. The resulting highly durable coatings meet or exceed testing procedures including humidity, thermal shock, adhesion, chemical resistance, and moderate abrasion per U.S. Military and international standards.
