The PD30 Laser Beam Dump is used to absorb 400 to 2500 nm incident light and capture unwanted laser beams up to 30 W average power. In the optics laboratory, they are used to stop stray laser beams to protect personel and equipment. In instrumentation, laser beam dumps are used to contain a beam within a portion of the instrument. The PD series features Silicon Carbide construction to be effective in numerous laser applications. The PD30 features M3 and #4 threaded holes for easy, direct mounting and offers a maximum acceptance angle of ±5°, providing flexibility and accuracy in beam management.
