We created our patented Flipper mount by adding a hinge to a traditional optic mount. The result is a mount that lets you move an optic into and out of your beam path easily and repeatably. Ideal for turning mirrors in multiplexed laser experiments, this mount eliminates many of the headaches associated with sharing a laser. Adjustment screws let you steer your beam, while a sapphire pad under the screw gives you better than 200-µrad repeatability between flips. A 2 inch (50-mm) version complements our popular 1 inch (25-mm) size.
For those instances when you dont need the adjustability of the Flipper mount, consider our Flip-up Optical Filter Holder.

Note
Flipper Mounts also work well as narrow-profile tip-tilt mounts.
