Motor Driven Slit Assembly, MS257

The 77722 Motor Driven Variable Slit Assembly is designed exclusively for the MS257 monochromator. It uses a micro stepping motor to control a slit width range of 4 μm to 2.0 mm. Slit height is 15 mm. The slit width can be set using the Hand Controller, by computer, or automatically by the MS257 in order to have a predetermined and constant bandpass. Entire scans can be taken with the slit widths automatically adjusted by MS257 at each data point. Factory recalibration service is recommended when transitioning to this motorized slit assembly on the MS257.
