A: What is the maximum measurement rate of the 1830-R?
Q: The only way to retrieve the data is to issue a command to make an individual data point measurement. The measurement rate depends on the communication method used such as RS-232, USB, and GPIB, as well as the processing speed of the computer.

A: No, we can not upgrade the 1830-R to an 1830-R-GPIB.

Q: Can I use PMManager to communicate with 1830-R? 
A: No. The PMManager is only compatible with the x938-R, 1919-R, 843-R series, and 844-PE-USB. Also note that the command lists are different between the 1830-R and the PMManager compatible meters.
