Optical Table, Tuned-Damped, Upgradable, 5 x 6 ft., 12 in. Thick, 1/4-20

The ST-UT2-56-12 Tuned-Damped Field Upgradable SmartTable^® is upgradeable to SST Series performance. This 12 inch thick optical table has a 59.06 inch width, 6 feet length, and 1/4-20 holes on a 1 inch grid. The ST-UT2 Series combines Newport’s fine tuned damping with IQ damping. When the IQ dampers are not installed, the ST-UT2 table provides performance equivalent to an RS2000 Series table. As your application requirements become more stringent, the ST-UT2 table can be field upgraded to SmartTable performance levels by installing an IQ-300-UG upgrade kit. There is no need to dismantle your experiment in order to upgrade the table. Once upgraded, the ST-UT2 will provide a dramatically quieter table surface, resulting in high quality imaging, improved long term stability, faster settling times and the ability to make measurements that previously required the quietest lab environments. The upgraded ST-UT2 SmartTable also allows users to monitor tabletop vibrations through built in vibration sensors that provide real time feedback on the vibration state of the table. Isolators are sold separately.
