HeNe Laser, Yellow, 594 nm, 2.0 mW, 500:1 Polarization, CE
The N-LYP-173 Yellow HeNe Laser generates a 500:1 linearly polarized output of 2.0 mW (minimum) at 594 nm. Longitudinal mode spacing is approximately 373 MHz with the spectral bandwidth being approximately 1491 MHz (FWHM). Utilizing enhanced designs and superior optical components these HeNe lasers deliver unsurpassed operational stability and lifetimes. The mirror quality and performances are optimized to result in the highest quality HeNe lasers available in the market. The yellow HeNe laser offers TEM00 mode at 594 nm. These high-performance lasers are supported by a one-year warranty and are available off-the-shelf. CE compliant, IEC Class 3R. The power supply is included. A spare or replacement laser head or power supply can be purchased seperately off-line. The laser head model is N-LYP-173-H, and the power supply model is N6-LPL-903-065.
594 nm Output Power from 1.0 mW to 2.0 mW
We offer yellow HeNe lasers with output power levels of 1.0 mW or 2.0 mW. The power supply is included with the yellow HeNe laser head. yellow-hene-lasers-594-nm. The direction of the polarization is vertical, when the shutter control is shown at the top.
HeNe Laser Mounting
ULM Series cylindrical laser mounts attach to 340-RC and 370-RC rod clamps and provide a convenient way to attach these HeNe lasers to Newport stages, tables, or breadboards. For N-LYP series, please mount the laser at either end of the body indicated by shading.

HeNe Laser Advantages
HeNe Lasers use a mixture of Helium and Neon gas as the gain medium excited by an electrical discharge. Helium Neon gas lasers are based on a mature and well understood technology that offers a cost effective laser source with fundamental Gaussian beam quality, and ease of use. HeNe lasers offer a stable optical output over lifetimes greater than 20,000 hours and are insensitive to optical feedback.
