Negative Meniscus Lens, Fused Silica, 50.8 mm, -250 mm EFL, 532 nm

The MSCN010HAR.27 fused silica negative meniscus lens is used for beam manipulation of Nd:YAG lasers. This 2.0 in (50.8 mm) diameter lens has a -250 mm focal length and is laser line anti-reflection coated for 532 nm. By orienting the convex surface of the lens towards the laser beam, the light reflecting back into the laser is divergent, minimizing feedback. Designed to the fundamental and harmonic wavelengths of Spectra-Physics VanguardTM and Qunata-Ray® Lasers, these lenses meet the demanding requirements of a range of high power applications. Newport's fused silica meniscus lenses are polished to tight tolerances using master test plates to ensure minimum wavefront distortion. The extreme purity of fused silica eliminates microscopic defect sites that could lead to laser damage for high-energy applications.
