Plano-Convex Gradient Index Micro Lens, 1.8mm,.60 NA,1560nm,0.22 Pitch

Gradient index micro lenses have a radially varying index of refraction that causes an optical ray to follow a sinusoidal propagation path through the lens. They combine refraction at the end surfaces along with continuous refraction within the lens. The LGI1560-PX has a 0.22 pitch lens that is useful for collimating laser diodes and non-contact fiber coupling and collimating. This SELFOC® radial gradient index oxide glass plano-convex lens has less spherical aberration and an increased acceptance angle, thereby minimizing focused spot size and maximizing coupling efficiency. It has a 1.8 mm diameter, a 3.31 mm length, a 0.60 NA, and is antireflection coated to provide maximum transmission at 1560 nm.
