The GEW16AR.20 is a 3 μm to 12 μm antireflection coated, 75.0 mm in diameter and 5.0 mm thick Germanium window. Germanium has high index of refraction, making it a perfect choice for applications that require low dispersion. The AR coating provides high transmission from 2 μm to 16 μm while reducing the high surface reflectivity of the substrate. With its broad transmission range and opacity in the visible spectrum, Germanium is a popular choice for MWIR (Mid-Wave Infrared) laser applications.
