Colored Glass Absorptive UV Bandpass Filters

The FSQ-UG1 Colored Glass Bandpass Filter is a 50.8 x 50.8 mm UV bandpass filter made of Schott UG1 filter glass. This bandpass filter is precision polished for demanding research or OEM applications.

Warning – this filter material is naturally hygroscopic. When exposed to a humid environment, they will start to discolor and stain. The stains cannot be wiped off and the damage is permanent. We offer the , a coated version of this filter for humid environments. It prevents moisture from contaminating filter material, preventing stains, discoloration, and contamination. It also has 3% increase of transmission compared to uncoated version.
