Fiber Optic StrippersThe F-STR-103T-250 Fiber Optic Stripper is a popular three hole durable Miller® tool that removes 2 - 3 mm fiber jacket, 900 nm tight buffer, and 250 μm coating from 125 μm diameter fibers. There is no need of having a jacket stripper and a coating stripper separately. The precision diameter hole and the V opening in the blade allows for accurate and clean buffer layer removal. All cutting surfaces are precision formed, hardened, tempered and ground, all assuring precise stripping. 5.375 in. (136.5 mm) length and 2.5 oz. (71 g) weight.
Factory Set and Ready to Use Out-of-the Box
These fiber optic stripping tools are factory set so there is no need for adjustment or calibration. The tool may be periodically checked for proper operation. Prior to and during the inspection, the tool may be cleaned with a plastic bristled brush to remove debris from the opening. The opening may be cleaned with dry compressed air.
