Right-Angle Prism, N-BK7, 30 mm, λ/8, Aluminum Hypotenuse

The BRAP18-A High Tolerance Right-Angle Prism is precision polished to tight tolerances for more demanding applications. This protective aluminum coated hypotenuse, N-BK7 prism dimension is 1.18 x 1.18 x 1.18 inch (30.0 x 30.0 x 30.0 mm). It has a λ/8 surface flatness and a 40-20 surface quality. This prism is recommended for general laboratory use in the visible range. By means of total internal reflection (TIR), a right-angle prism may be used as a 90° reflector or as a 180° retroreflector. Except for reflection losses from the entry and exit faces, TIR exhibits 100% reflectivity over a very large wavelength range.
